What We Are Building

RAKBrand is building on its history of kindness, outreach, and direct community service to create stronger pathways for people who are facing hardship.

We are developing a community-based reentry resource navigation program for adults returning home after incarceration. The goal is to help people identify what they need, understand what resources are available, and take the next steps toward stability.

Support may include connections to identification and documents, food, clothing, hygiene supplies, benefits information, transportation, housing and transitional-housing leads, employment programs, education, training, and other trusted community resources.

RAKBrand provides nonclinical peer support, resource navigation, warm referrals, and follow-up. We do not provide medical care, therapy, legal services, emergency services, housing placement, or guarantees of acceptance into another organization’s program.

Our long-term goal is bigger than a referral. We want people who receive support today to have the opportunity to become volunteers, peer supporters, mentors, employees, and leaders who help others tomorrow.
